Job description: Position: Supply and Logistics Clerk
Location: Laval
Salary: $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience
Job Type: Long-term temporary, 1-year (12 months)
Schedule: Weekdays, daytime, 4 or 5 days per week, 16 to 20 hours per week

– Schedule of 16 to 20 hours per week
– Long-term contract for one year (12 months)
Your duties will include:– Providing daily support to the following departments: operations, sales, and finance
– Issuing purchase orders and any other necessary documentation for all purchased items
– Managing transportation and warehouse distribution
– Checking complete documentation related to procurement and ensuring data accuracy and retention
– Optimizing operations to reduce costs
– Managing inventory to avoid shortages or stockouts
– Following up on orders
– Writing reports on projects
– Performing other related tasks
The ideal candidate will:– Have 1 year of relevant experience in the field of procurement or logistics, preferably in manufacturing or distribution
– Be proficient in Excel and familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite
– Be bilingual in both spoken and written communication to deal with suppliers outside Quebec
– Have strong organizational skills, be autonomous, and dynamic
