You will report directly to the vice-president, operations.
You will manage a team divided among purchasing, transport, logistics, inventory planning and warehousing.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and develop the teams under his/her responsibility;
- Optimize inventory management considering the established objectives;
- Develop business relationships with suppliers while discussing the results, substitution rates, forecasts and industry changes;
- Optimize the use of our system (ERP).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- More than ten years of experience in the distribution industry;
- Having worked with or have been involved in the deployment of a WMS in a distribution center;
- Good understanding of importations;
- Experience with Amazon distribution;
- Preferably know the ERP SX Enterprises.
Competencies:
- Leadership (able to work closely with the Sales Department);
- Negotiation skills (able to conclude strategic alliances with privileged suppliers);
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management;
- Ability to quickly understand strategic and operational issues;
- Perfectly bilingual;
- Team management between different departments: purchasing, transport, logistics, inventory planning, warehousing;
- Autonomous and honest.
