Job description: Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from around the world. To fulfill our operation needs, we are looking for a Full-Time Delivery Driver with a Class 5 Driver’s license to make local deliveries within the Lower-Mainland.

Position Summary:

The Full-Time Delivery Driver makes frequent deliveries within the Lower-Mainland during the weekend and some weekdays. This role will involve frequent movement and lifting. Must hold a Class 5 driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50lbs. The driver will be driving a 5-Ton Truck to deliver to restaurants and supermarkets.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, Saturdays as required
• Flexible hours required: Any 8 hours between 7:00AM to 6:00PM

Hourly Wages: $20

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers, including to restaurant and supermarkets, on assigned routes
• Unload goods as per client specification, all goods must be delivered inside business premises
• Move objects using a power jack tool
• Obtain delivery confirmations/signatures from each customer
• Check inventory against invoices with customers
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Collect cash, cheques or CODs when required
• Comply with company’s deliver standard operating procedures

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

• Class 5 driver license with clean driving abstract
• Related delivery experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to drive a commercial truck and operate a lift gate
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
• Basic English communication
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

• Ability to operate a 5 Ton-Truck
• Previous experience using electric power jacks
