Department Overview
The TD Equipment Finance team is a Centre of Excellence within Business Banking. Our mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.

Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, TD Equipment Finance (TDEF), this Agent, Customer Service Officer position is responsible for completing various documentation tasks post-disbursement, primarily in the Eastern Canada region.

  • Coordinating, documenting and initiating the Canadian registration security lien process for a variety of commercial lease and loan documentation products for equipment financing per post-disbursement needs.
  • Managing transactions with vendors, customers, creditors and the commercial teams, securing necessary transaction documentation, preparing documents and ensuring a smooth booking process.
  • Assisting in identifying viable solutions to complete due diligence analysis for transaction reviews, while directly interfacing with internal and external TDEF Customers.
  • Ensuring the perfection of a security interest in collateral and compliance with company and provincial policies.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Commercial Teams and Customer Service.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ business experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively while exercising sound judgment
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Fully bilingual (written / spoken) French and English
