We are leading the search for a Vice President, Finance and Business Optimization for our client, a leading Canadian brand. Working closely with the President and other business leaders, the Vice President, Finance and Business Optimization will help ensure the sound financial management of the company, and play a critical role in helping to set the direction of the company.

The Vice President, Finance and Business Optimization will: assume leadership for the company’s financial reporting, planning and accounting functions to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and reliability, while driving continuous improvements; ensure the delivery of meaningful and detailed analytical information that will contribute to risk management and decision making; understand, interpret and oversee the implementation of regulatory changes that impact the company’s risk management, tax compliance, treasury strategies and long-range planning; ensure an efficient, centralized and business partnering IT function; ensure the company monitors, develops and complies with all internal controls; and be responsible for the execution of all material business contracts to ensure the companies interests are protected.
