They are looking to fill the role of Vice President/General Manager to head up the Canadian operations.

Your leadership expertise will drive a culture of excellence while managing sales and service, marketing and business development efforts and day to day operations. You will create a vision, and through collaboration with company ownership, your strategic leadership you will engage and empower your team to execute strategies to grow and expand the business and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction by engaging and inspiring a team of talented people across Western Canada
  • Bring a creative approach to leading, managing and growing a highly successful business
  • Provide outstanding leadership by creating a vision, gaining buy-in and supporting the team through to execution
  • Lead strategic planning processes, ensuring business plans, operating and capital budgets support company goals
  • Pursue and manage corporate strategies and targeted initiatives including customer loyalty programs
  • Identify, evaluate and establish business plans for growth opportunities including geography, acquisitions and/or service and product offerings
  • Drive process excellence to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance employee and customer satisfaction while ensuring safety-first protocols are top priority
  • Work closely with business unit leaders to assess financial performance and ensure alignment with overall financial strategies

What you bring to the table:

  • 12+ years in leadership role in commercial or residential construction industry and experience dealing with trades, installation and service crews
  • Business degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Proven track record of successfully leading an organization’s growth with experience in bidding, contracting and negotiating
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach and inspire teams of people
  • Relocation package available
