Job description: POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the President of the firm, the incumbent will be responsible for a team made up of a Director of Labor Relations, a Human Resources Advisor, an Employee Experience and Recruitment Director, a HR Technician, Payroll Service and External Service Providers. You will be responsible for all activities related to human resources services, the dissemination of culture and labor relations.

You will also be a key player in the constant improvement of the service. Recognized for your human qualities, you will play a major role in influencing decision-makers. You will be part of the firm’s management committee and will work on a daily basis with the Vice-Presidents of our various markets. Taking into account business issues, in addition to the day-to-day management of your activities, you will contribute to the development of programs and policies making Cogir Immobilier a work environment of choice.

  • • Acts as a resource person for all questions relating to salaries and benefits and the annual evaluation process
  • • Advises senior staff on human resources management
  • • Develop recognition programs and activities promoting the strengthening of culture within our teams
  • • Develops and organizes for all managers, training courses on labor relations, Labor Standards or any other law likely to improve the work climate
  • • Develops, implements and administers human resources policies and programs
  • • Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with union representatives by seeking to put forward new solutions
  • • Is able to prepare and defend his position during grievance arbitration, complaints to the CNESST.
  • • Is present in the field in order to assess adherence to the culture and influence its dissemination
  • • Is responsible for internal communications messages
  • • Manages the various annual surveys, analyzes the results and sets up improvement initiatives with his team
  • • Must influence and work as a team with external communications, so that the culture is always put forward, thus promoting the development of a strong employer brand.
  • • Plans the human resources needs of today and tomorrow in concert with the Market Vice Presidents
  • • Plans, organizes, directs and monitors human resources in order to meet the needs of the organization in terms of staff quality and performance
  • • Receives, processes and follows up on complaints that are addressed to its service
  • • See to the management, organization and monitoring of a payroll service and the management of group insurance with approximately 3,000 employees.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • • You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or industrial relations
  • Error: A1
  • • Perfectly bilingual
  • • You are a member of the Order (CRHA, CRIA)
