Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Picker on a permanent basis at our Distribution Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What you’ll do:

Our Team Members play an integral part to ensure Co-op Food, Hardware and Agriculture Store shelves are fully stocked across Western Canada. FCL provides an environment for our team members to grow and develop their careers, starting from our Warehouse Order Picker position!

  • You will fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
  • You will may work in the freeze in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided)
  • You will follow with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • You will perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • You will perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.
  • The shift expectation is either:
  • Saturday, Sunday: 10:30am – 6:30pm; Monday – Wednesday: 3:00pm – 11:30pm.
  • Or Sunday – Thursday: 9:00pm – 5:30am
  • You must be available to complete a full week of training (i.e., Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm)
  • You must work a minimum of 24 hours/week but preferably be available to work 40 hours/week.

Who you are:

You are looking for a positive working environment to develop a career in Supply Chain, and:

  • You are able to work in the freezer when required.
  • You are able to physically lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • You are able to perform shift work potentially including evenings and weekends.

  • The starting rate of pay is $18.34/hr with wage increases as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
