SPUD.ca is looking for a part-time Reverse Logistics & Sustainability Team Member for our Edmonton, AB warehouse (7039 68th Avenue). This shift is Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the inflow of reusable packaging materials, sorting & staging products upon arrival
  • Ensure sufficient stock levels of supplies are maintained for all operations
  • Recover, clean, sanitize and stage all reusable materials, to support outbound order flow
  • Operate industrial tote washing machine safely and efficiently
  • Clean, freeze and stage passive cooling packs
  • Manage all waste streams throughout the facility, in line with our sustainability values
  • Support other
  • Maintain tools and supplies
  • Clean and organize work areas
  • Help your team members to excel
  • Work hard and have fun
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A fascination with automatic car washes
  • Keep home recycling bins well organized
  • Proven ability to think creatively to complete assigned tasks
  • Team-first mentality
  • Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching and walking
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in our walk-in refrigerated coolers or freezers
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to actively problem solve and improve processes on a daily basis

Compensation

  • $15.00 per hour starting wage.
  • 20% discount on all of our products on spud.ca
  • Join now and receive an initial $250.00 of SPUD credit, and another $250.00 of SPUD credit after six months of employment ($500.00 total)
  • Must have a valid SPUD.ca account and be employed at the time of the credit administration (processed monthly)
  • Extended health care benefits (effective the first of the month following 90 days).

Expected salary: $15 per hour
